World Of Warcraft Auctioneer Addon
You will need to TSM addon for the Loot Appraiser to function properly. This addon is one of the most important addons for gold farming and transmog farming due to the fact you can calculate roughly how much an item is worth. Selljunk: Selljunk is an addon that will add a button to any vendor. All you have to do is click on it.

Hey there, I have read and heard of hundreds of tips saying the easiest way to make gold in the auction house is to buy low and sell high. I was trying to configure addons myself but failed to. So can anyone help me setup Auctioneer for buying low and selling high?
Thanks ^_^ -Shauras
You might be able to find more help in the UI and Macros forum.

Here's a slightly edited rundown.. it's a lot of work to set up, but once you have it running, it's easy to manage.:
Step 1: Configure Auctioneer (only need to do this once unless you want to change your settings)
1. Go to the AH, then go to the 'search' tab.
2. On the left hand panel, expand 'filters'
3. Select 'itemquality'. Here you can restrict the items that will show up when you do a resale search to make it easier to look through. First you put a checkmark next to 'Enable Filter' and 'resale' at the top so it will filter for that search, then you check everything else below you want filtered out. In general, you may want to filter out everything other than trade goods until you get better at identifying good buys. Fairly safe investments include trade goods, gems, and to a lesser extent Glyphs. There is also very good money in reselling some armor, weapons, 'misc', and other items, but these other categories can be more difficult to identify good deals with, and it can take longer to resell these items vs trade goods.
4. On the left hand panel, go to the 'time left'. filter. Here you can filter out items that are profitable to bid on, but that won't expire a while. Again this is mostly useful to help reduce the scan results you have to look through, and prevent you from tying up your gold on a bunch of bids. Your gold won't be released back to you after a bid unless someone else out-bids you. I filter out any bidds that won't expire for 2 hours or more, but this is up to you.
5. Above the filters, go to the 'resale' searcher. Set your minimum profit very low, like 50 silver or less. Set your 'min discount' to at least 50%, possibly higher until you've had more time to scan and build your auctioneer database. Enable the 'check seen' option to help filter out rare items that auctioneer won't have a good price valuation for in its database. Click 'Allow bids' and 'allow buyouts'. If you don't have a lot of gold to work with, you can further filter your results by enabling a maximum price.. for example if you only have 10 gold, you don't need to see results that will cost you 50 gold to buy. Finally, enable 'Subtract AH Fees' and 'subtract deposit' for48 hours, with 3x re-listing. Basically it costs you a deposit to post and sell items on the AH, so you're telling it to remove the amount it will cost you when it calculates your potential profit.
Step 2: Finding Profitable Items
1. On the main browse tab, click the blue double-arrows at the upper left of the window to perform a full scan on the AH. Wait for the scan to finish (can be 30 seconds to several minutes depending on the size of your auction house.
2. Go to the 'search' tab, then select 'resale'.
3. On the bottom left, hit 'search'. It will show you all of the filtered results of profitable items for resale.
4. When you find an item worth buying or bidding on, click 'purchase' on the bottom left. It will bid or buy the item for you. Trade goods are usually safe bets, but there are all sorts of deals in other categories as well.. you may not want to mess with those unless you're absolutely sure about an item, or once you have more gold under your belt. For now, you just need high turnover. wowhead.com and theunderminejounal will be useful to help you identify what things are and how well they have been selling, and help validate auctioneer's price estimates. If you've found you made a mistake and purchased an item that really isn't worth what you thought, you can choose 'ignore' or 'ignore price' on the bottom of the search window to filter the item out from then on.
Step 3: Selling.
There's a few ways to do this. You can do it manually, but as you gain inventory, this can become cumbersome. You can use auctioneer's appraiser tab and let it post for you and the best price it thinks you should go for.
Personally, I prefer to use another addon for the selling part.. appraiser isn't configurable enough for my preferences. The addon I use is TradeSkillMaster, which allows you to set up categories and groups that can each have different posting rules. Create the groups with the rules you like, add the items to the group they best belong to, and then it will post automatically for you at the auction house.
Here's another guide on how to set up TSM:

If you are having trouble installing addons, I just installed the Curse Client and let Curse handle automatic addon installation.
'World of Warcraft' supports the use of add-ons, user-created tools to enhance your gameplay. Whether you're installing a boss mod to warn you of dangerous boss mechanics or an RP-enhancing tool to flesh out your character's history and personality in-game, add-ons are all installed to the same folder. You can install add-ons manually, or use an add-on client to install them for you.
Manual Installation
Download the add-on you wish to install to your desktop. Unzip the folder by right-clicking it and selecting 'Extract All.' Copy the extracted folder and paste it into the Add-Ons folder for WoW's program files. The file path should look like the following:
C:Program FilesWorld of WarcraftInterfaceAddOns
Once pasted, the add-ons only need to be activated in-game to be ready for use.
Client-based Installation
Add-on clients simplify the installation and updating of add-ons by automating the process. Bioshock infinite download pc. Typically, you download and install the client, then select add-ons from their website and install using their 'Install via client' option. Some clients instead require you to install the add-on manually, then update via the client. Curse Client, WowMatrix and Wootbit Client are some commonly used add-on clients. Some groups, like Tukui, use a proprietary client to update add-ons they produce, like the Tukui and ElvUI user interface add-ons.
Activating Add-Ons
World Of Warcraft Auctioneer Addon Curse
To activate your add-ons, click the 'AddOns' button on the character selection screen. You can select which add-ons are active for which character by selecting the character name from the drop-down list and checking the check-boxes for add-ons you want to use. Check the 'Load Out-of-Date AddOns' check-box to enable add-ons listed as 'out-of-date,' which are often still useful. When you log in, your add-ons will be active.
