Heroes Of The Storm Wont Install

Since about a week ago, Bnet randomly crashed for me, then after booting it, ALL my games said they required a patch.
Nothing would patch until I did the 'Whispers of the Old Gods' pre-patch first for Hearthstone, then Diablo was 'patched' and then WoW was 'patched'. When the games patched they didn't download anything, they just 'updated' then was playable again.
However for Hots, I've tried updating the game but it just keeps going 'Oops something went wrong' - error message BLZBNTAG00000BB8.
So I followed Blizzards link, but I could never submit a ticket for this problem, only ask the community. Personally I've had more help from Blizzard themselves than the community.
Prove me wrong, this is really starting to aggitate me now.

Update: Uninstall/Reinstall works

I can not update the patch yet again. This is kind of getting old.

both heroes and overwatch won't update for me anymore. last year it was just heroes. this year, includes overwatch. my adobe flash is up-to-date, i've uninstalled and re-installed heroes so many times. i was thinking once will permanently fix it but apparently it didn't. looks like i have to do that every update which is kinda tiring to be honest. i've disabled my firewall and antivirus temporarily, and restarted my router and laptop couple of times, too. i'm using laptop in playing these games. I really need your help guys. Please and Thank you.

I have also had this problem over all the last patch updates. It states that I am not connected to the internet. However I have done everything Blizzard has told me to do, from submitting tickets, to uninstalling/reinstalling, deleting all folders and files, resetting routers, disabling firewalls, running msInfo, dxdiag, updating my computers files and connecting hardwire. This is so frustrating and almost making it not worth it to play any games anymore since I have to go through this every update with it only working about 50% of the time.

I had the same problem. Then I clicked the 'Heroes of the Storm.exe' in my installation folder. Then it suddenly started to update. I hope that helps.

This is still an ongoing problem as of 4/28/17.

This solved it for me:
1. End client
2. open Task manager
3. End Agent.exe and all other blizzard processes running
4. Restart Blizzard client.

doesnt work for me and my girlfriend. that really poor. Even that we had to try all these blizzard advices is super, mega, ultra p0000r. thats like the worst. Pls tell me now that i have to buy win10 as windows dnoes not support win7 anymore with updates which means i agree to getting big brother watched. Thats the worst.

3. End Agent.exe and all other blizzard processes running
4. Restart Blizzard client.

I ended the client, killed 'Blizzard Agent' manually, restarted the client (which also restarts the agent) but nothing. It still shows me the 'play' button but won't let me in because I got an old version. :
Right now I'm trying to install the latest GeForceDriver that was also waiting to be updated so see if this is blocking it.. will report on success or failure.

Don't worry, it's not your graphics card driver which is blocking. It is still a good idea to keep your drivers up to date, though ;)

Sorry sir, didn't worked for me.

After ages of trying the above steps, I got the download and..
waiting for another update or installation.
It will not respond to the priority button, and it will not download. Waited for 10 minutes, still nothing. Closed it all again, and what do you know - the update is entirely lost and I have to start from step 1 again..
